What Are Dental Implant Options for Different Needs?
Single Tooth Replacements
Permanently protect neighboring teeth & complete your smile with a single-tooth implant made custom for you.
Implant-Supported Bridge
Superior to a standard bridge, this option is anchored into the jawbone for permanent results that you can be confident will last a lifetime with proper care.
Immediate
Implants
If you have adequate bone left after a recent tooth extraction, immediate implants can be permanently placed within the same day of your first visit. Quickly replace your tooth while saving time and money with just one visit.
Full-Arch
Restoration
The most popular option that can permanently give you brand new teeth of your own. Similar to other implant options, this method is designed to look & function like real teeth.
Dental Implants | VS. | Dentures |
---|---|---|
Securely anchored in the jaw bone for superior function & stability. | Prone to slipping out of position which can result in discomfort. | |
Comfortably enjoy your favorite foods again without worry. | Potential of falling out or loosening while chewing certain foods. | |
Permanently fixed in place for convenience & longevity. | Daily removal and adhesive application required to keep secure. | |
Durably designed for hassle-free maintenance so you can brush your teeth again. | Required to be soaked daily for cleaning, which can be inconvenient and expensive. | |
Effectively built to last a lifetime with consistent oral hygiene. | Susceptible to wearing down with the increased risk of needing replacement. | |
Keeps surrounding bone and gums healthy, preventing deterioration. | Commonly causes bone loss resulting in loose-fitting dentures. |
What Are The Benefits Of Dental Implants?
Dental implants are a realistic & durable tooth restoration solution that has about a 98% success rate. They offer many advantages over more traditional tooth replacements, such as fixed bridges and dentures. Some of the key benefits include:
- Durable and permanent. Because the implant fuses with the bone in your jaw, patients enjoy a long-term, realistic replacement that lasts a lifetime with proper care.
- Natural-looking. It’s hard to beat a tooth replacement option that truly looks, feels, and functions just like natural teeth.
- A confident smile. Improved self-confidence is common for our implant patients. They love smiling, knowing that no one can tell that they have had a tooth restored!
- Enjoy eating again. Enjoy eating your favorite foods comfortably & confidently.
- Protects bone health and structure. Dental implants replace the entire tooth, including the root, so they stimulate the bone under your gums to prevent bone loss just like natural teeth.
- Versatile. They can replace one or multiple missing teeth or even an entire arch of teeth.
- Patient candidacy. With advances in bone grafting techniques, many patients are candidates.
About The All-on-4/Full Arch Implant Restoration
The All-on-4 treatment concept gives patients the freedom and confidence of a new and complete smile. It is an excellent treatment option for patients who are suffering from many dental problems such as: broken, loose, missing, or painful and infected teeth, failing crowns and bridges, dry mouth with rampant dental cavities, gagging from ill-fitting partial dentures, or uncomfortable or loose dentures. This revolutionary procedure involves securing a permanent row of teeth to the upper or lower arch using as few as four dental implants. The dental implant posts fuse to the jaw to create a permanent and secure foundation for the new, custom-made teeth. The results are a fully functional smile that is secure and looks natural.
How All-on-4 Works
During your procedure, any teeth that remain in the dental arch receiving the All-on-4 treatment concept will be removed, and four dental implant posts will be accurately placed into your jaw bone. The surgical sites will be stitched closed, and you will rest comfortably while your new temporary teeth are custom-made to be inserted that very same day. These teeth are secured that same day so that you can leave the office with a beautiful, functional smile.
Why Choose All-on-4 Treatment Concept Over Dentures?
Patients with removable dentures should consider the All-on-4 treatment concept because these arches of teeth do not need to be cleaned in special rinses or removed when eating, and many claim they provide superior comfort compared to traditional dentures and fixed bridges.
We find that many of our patients who need to replace an entire arch of teeth are good candidates for this type of full-arch restoration, even if they are suffering from bone loss that has kept them from receiving individual dental implants. Like individual implants, the All-on-4 treatment concept is permanent, secure, and can prevent bone loss and other oral health problems. Additionally, this solution is more cost-effective and requires less surgery. During your consultation at Advanced Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Studio, you and Drs. Jesin and Lytle will decide if this is the ideal treatment option for you based on your individual condition and your restoration goals.
Candidates For All-On-4
We find that patients who need to replace an entire arch of teeth are great candidates for this procedure, even if they have been told that they don’t have enough bone for implants. Advanced training and expertise from Drs. Jesin and Lytle combined with the latest dental implant innovation helps patients with lack of bone qualify for this procedure. During your consultation at Advanced Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Studio, Drs. Jesin and Lytle will help you decide if All-on-4/Full Arch Restoration is your ideal treatment option.
Benefits Of Our Own Dental Lab
Our practice established its own dental lab, fully equipped with imaging and 3D printing technology. By keeping operations in-house, we’re able to reduce the number of appointments needed to achieve a new set of teeth. Our lab can fabricate an arch of teeth in 20 minutes, and we are one of 30 labs nationwide that utilizes the PIC® scanner for advanced impressions. This technology eliminates three appointments that would otherwise be necessary for a full-arch restoration procedure, saving patients time and money.
